The Mont-Blanc Tunnel is a 11,6 km long road tunnel through the Mont-Blanc-Massif of the Alps which is connecting Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in France and Courmayeur in Italy. The tunnel building was launched in 1959, the inauguration took place on 19 July 1965. For one passage of the tunnel is charged a toll of 44.20 Euro in direction ITA to FRA and 43.50 Euro in direction FRA to ITA (2017).
