Kelty is located in Fife, Scotland. Kelty is a former coal mining village in the heart of the old mining heartlands of Fife. It is situated on the Fife/Kinross-shire boundary with a population of around 6,000 residents.

It is also shown as Blair Adam Station SO in some of the Post Office directories.

Blairadam (Hist: Blair Adam) is a village north west of Kelty in Fife, Scotland. Blairadam Post Office was under Kelty Office.

Blairadam was issued with the 47 Scottish Numeral in 1844, it was then taken off and presumed listed under Kelty in the lists of 1874, before being re-instated in 1887 as a stand alone office.
