Oostmalle

Oostmalle is a village which is located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The village itself is part of the municipality of Malle. Oostmalle was an independent municipality until 1976.

The post office opened on 1 February 1846. It used Distribution code 42, then a postal code 279. Upgraded to a Perception code 141 on 15 September 1850. Oostmalle was an independent municipality until 1976.

Westmalle

Westmalle is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp which is part of the municipality of Malle. Westmalle is primarily known for the Trappist Abbey of Westmalle of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance (O.C.S.O.: Ordo Cisterciensium reformatorum), and its brewery. The Trappist monks operate a brewery and also make cheese. In addition, the Monasterium Magnificat of Westmalle is the only monastery of the Annunciade Order in Belgium. Westmalle Castle dates back to 1100.
