  • Put to Press: 5 July 1856
  • Destroyed: not known
  • Sheets printed: Thought to be at least 1,000,000 with 12.5% on blued paper.
  • Constant Plate characteristics:
    • Weakness in the Queens head is often found, giving the cameo appearance.
    • Large Crown wmk
    • Perforation: 14 (The plate was used for a brief period in 1857/58 for perf 16
    • Weakness in the North East square frames
    • Main North East Ray of North East square is generally short. (Plates 37-49 & 52-60)
    • Most units showing the break in East frame (Plates 37-49 & 52-60)
