- Put to Press Date: 19 July 1856
- Destroyed: 29 October 1861 (However had already been taken off the presses on 20 April the same year)
- Sheets printed: 601,500
- Transitional shades exist
- Constant Plate characteristics:
- Large Crown Wmk
- Perf 14 (The plate was used for a temporary perforation of Perf 16 in late Dec 1857-March 1858)
- NE is always weak
- No repairs have been noted
- Main North East Ray of North East square is generally short. (Plates 37-49 & 52-60)
- Most units showing the ⅔ break in East frame (Plates 37-49 & 52-60)
